because before you know it the weekend is over.
Friday was a family service, not the best of days, but you do get to see family you haven't seen in a long time. And of course there is an upside, this small town had a yarn shop, The Purple Sock. Unfortunately, she doesn't have a website, but if you get the chance to visit Coldwater, Ontario, I sure you'll find something you'll like.Saturday was very warm for April, so it was spent outdoors with family we don't see often. Teasing my older brother about having a midlife crisis.Teaching babies that dog bones are not a good substitute for teething rings, but tea towels and milk bags will substitute for diapers when daddy drives off with the disposables.Collecting eggs for Nanny and then letting the wind blow them away and telling her it's okay cause the sun will turn them into fried eggs.Sunday, spent in the kitchen, because it's Leo the Leopards 5th birthday and grampa thought it would be a great idea to make birthday cupcakes. (then immediately went outside to the garage)!!!
Now I will get back to regularly schedule knitting time. I think I need some quiet time.
